The key

(A veces se me da por escribir en ingles,
me recuerda cosas y todo fluye mas facil)

Everyone has one key, only one key.
Whenever you keep it to yourself
or give it to somebody else,
its your decision.

Im here right now to let you all know
that giving out your key is
a pretty shitty idea.

Learned that the hard way.

By that im not saying "never fall in love"
thats not it, people.

Your key is something you should always
keep for yourself, not because of all
the drama it may cause to give it
to the wrong person,
but because of other reasons.

Nobody can handle the responsibility
or having someone else's key,
nobody.

Giving your key to your loved one
is a mistake
because deep down inside you
you start feeling vulnerable
and weak.

You become insecure
and start being afraid of
your keyholder.

You suddenly feel that your lock
is in danger, every argument
you have to turn around
and realize that your lock is
not in your power anymore.

Someone else has the responsibility
to keep it safe now.

You check your lock everyday
hoping that things work out
for the better.

But in the end, they never do.

So learn from my story,
keep your key to yourself,
be happy that way.

Always keep control of your lock,
always be in command,
because once somebody else has
the ability to open your lock
you will lose.

Fall in love with yourself,
do love someone else,
but also learn to love your key,
learn to keep things to yourself.

That was my mistake,
i loved too much,

And now i have to stick to hoping
that someday
i might be able to change my own lock.

Change the lock even though it will
crack it down for a while
until i can fix it.

Even though i dont want to do it.
